The old constellation map produced by astronomers Drioux is a map of stars from the end of the 19th century. It is very well detailed and there are all the main celestial objects observed using the telescopes built by 19th century astronomers. This vintage poster-card exceptional poster is a large rectangular poster with illustrations that occupy a good part of the upper left corner, as well as the bottom of the poster to illustrate the main constellations and the nebula of the crab.
The more subtle details appear on the side of the poster: representation of the stars of various magnitude and on the north and southern hemispheres, worked by hand, in an original way by Leroy. This color card gives a real visual sense to the large number of celestial objects which our universe is full of, without forgetting the lyre and all the galaxies that can be crossed by looking at the wall this vintage poster-card.
