The indicator is new, the VFD IV-18 has a lifespan of at least 10,000 hours.
Its operation is simple, the Tube IV-18 contain electric filaments to display the hours in digital format. This fluorescent display system produces less warmth that will allow a long lifespan to your Nixie clock.
