The IV-18 VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) is a type of display tube produced in the former Soviet Union. It is known for its large size and bright, colorful digits, making it popular for use in clocks and other timekeeping devices.
The timing chip is DS3231 real-time clock, with a backup battery, the time does not disappear after the power is turned off, and the annual error of the clock is 1-2 minutes.
This upgrade adds automatic brightness control. After turning off the lights, it can automatically switch to night mode, no longer afraid of dazzling wooden shells It is processed by CNC, not laminated wood, the back cover is plexiglass and the same CNC process.
